We are gearing up for Autumn/Winter 2019, here is our direction for the upcoming season!
As a team of homeware lovers, new season launches are pretty exciting times for us! There is not one team member at Rayell who doesn’t have an opinion on what we should offer for the coming season and sometimes discussions become quite robust!
What we all agree on however is that as a wholesale business supplying retailers across Australia and beyond, we must stay on trend. One of the trends we have thoroughly embraced is the return to basics. We want to give our customers the opportunity to offer a natural and sustainable range that will have longevity way beyond 2019.
The beauty of natural pieces is that you can weave them into your current space to breath new life into your decor. Natural materials such as wood, rattan, organic cottons provide a foundation on which to build. To add these elements into the A/W collection, we’ve concentrated on handcrafted products keeping in touch with natural and earth.
Boho never seems to be far away from the style guides year in and year out, but this year sees the Boho vibe with a twist. When you think of Boho, layering natural materials usually springs to mind, but this year delivers a cleaner and brighter approach to this trend. Along with softer lines there is a blurring between modern and vintage with an added splash of colour!
When reviewing trends for the coming seasons, pantone shades are everything! An aptly named “cravings” is the pallet du jour for 2019. Think rich reds, teals and flamingo oranges - all inspired by food! These vibrant hues are anchored by compatible neutral tones of apricot and grey.
